September 22nd, 2011Entries for the Upper South Island AOY Awards for 2011 closed on Thursday the 30th of June. Judging was undertaken in August in the Nelson, Golden Bay, and Marlborough regions by Mark Vining of the NRMBA, Mark Smale from Carters and Dave Klaui from the BCITO.

August 3rd, 2011Of the 30 entries judged, 24 were residential entries and 6 were commercial entries. Of the medals awarded; there were 9 Category winners, 12 Gold Awards, 10 silver and 5 bronze.
A striking three bedroom home in Takaka, an impressive renovation in Moana and the Nelson High District Court redevelopment have been named this year’s top Nelson properties, winning Supreme Awards in the Nelson Region Registered Master Builders Placemakers 2011 House of the Year and RMB Commercial Projects Awards.
