Nelson’s top properties revealed in the House of the Year

Of the 20 entries judged, 16 were residential entries and 4 were commercial entries. Of the medals awarded; there were 9 Gold Medals, 6 silver and 5 bronze.
A stunning five bedroom masterpiece, a reconstruction of a 1950s batch, and the Nelson City Council Customer Service Centre, have been named this year’s top Nelson properties, winning the Supreme Awards in the Nelson Registered Master Builders House of the Year and RMB Commercial Project Awards, in association with PlaceMakers.

Record number of Gold Reserve Awards for Nelson Builders

16 Gold’s were awarded at the Nelson HOY & Commercial Awards in July and of these 8 have been awarded Gold Reserve Status.

Congratulations to the following Nelson builders for their Gold Reserves:

Ezebuild Ltd - for a Renovation in Nelson in the Renovation over $500 category.
Tasman Holding Nelson Ltd - for a property in Nelson in the NH under $250 category.
G J Gardner Homes - for a property in Richmond in the NH $250 - 350 category.
Paul Brockie Builders - for a property in Nelson in the NH $650 - 1 mill category.
Wilkes Construction - for a property in Kina - in the NH over 1 mill category.
Peter Ray Homes - for their Show Home in Richmond.
IMB Construction - for a Health Project and a Retail & Business Project.

These properties will all be rejudged in October.
The results will be announced at a Gala Dinner at Sky City on Saturday November 14.
